Attention Transplant & Oncology Grant Submitters Earlier this year, Genzyme Corporation became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanofi. As part of integrating operations with Sanofi US, from December 1, 2011, all applications for grants or donations in the areas of transplant and oncology, whether for healthcare providers or patients, should be directed as follows: 1. Requests for physician medical education grants for transplant and oncology should be submitted to: www.sagrants.com 2. Patient group requests for grant support for transplant or oncology educational programs should be submitted to: www.sagrants.com. 3. Requests for charitable donations from 501(c) ((3) entities supporting transplant or oncology patients should be submitted to Sanofi US. Please be advised that Sanofi U.S. accepts applications for charitable donations “by invitation only,” with a goal to contact non-profits directly throughout the year to apply for contributions. Continuing Medical Education (Accredited)
Funding for an ACCME accredited educational program that consists of educational activities which serve to maintain, develop or increase the knowledge, skills and professional performance that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public or the profession.
Education Program (Unaccredited)
This application should be completed to request funding for non-ACCME accredited educational activities that intend to educate healthcare professionals during health-related public conferences, symposia or community awareness programs.
Fellowship
Grants requests for funding of a fellowship position at a medical or research entity.
Sponsorship
Sponsorship requests pertain to grants for an event such as a walkathon or fund raising dinner.
Charitable Contribution
Charitable Contributions represent grant requests from a registered charitable organization as defined and certified by the United States IRS. This does not include requests that are made in exchange for something of value or fee for service arrangements.
Community Relations Sponsorships
Sponsorship requests pertain to charitable events or fundraisers that support science education or health programs, addressing needs in communities where Genzyme has a business presence.
Community Relations Charitable Donations
Represent grant requests from certified charitable organizations whose programs fall within the giving categories of science education and health, addressing needs in communities where Genzyme has a business presence.
