How long does the grant request process take?
Please plan accordingly; a minimum of 6-8 weeks is required to process grant requests for Corporate applications. Community Relations (philanthropic grants to charitable organizations) are reviewed on a quarterly basis.
How will I be notified of the status of my grant request?
Your username is the e-mail address you used to register with genzymegrants.com. If you have forgotten your password, please contact us, and we will send your password to your e-mail account. Genzyme will need approximately 6-8 weeks to review your grant request.
Email notification will be sent to the requestor at specific milestones in the grant process. This will include an email update upon submission, receipt of application at Genzyme, and acceptance or declination. Of course, at any point in the process the requestor will receive notification if an application is missing required documents or further information is needed to evaluate the grant request.
Can I submit my grant request via paper and/or through my Genzyme field representative?
No, all grant requests must be submitted online by the requesting organization only.
When does Genzyme accept grant request submissions?
Grant requests are accepted for review all year; however, Community Relations grants are only reviewed on a quarterly basis.
Can an organization submit multiple grant requests?
Yes, however grant requests are reviewed individually. Funding of a grant request is not contingent upon previous activity and does not guarantee future support.
